Per Diem Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker or Clinical Psychologist

Job Location: Cascades Job Corps Center (Sedro-Woolley, WA)

Company Description

No-cost education and career technical training program administered by the U.S. Department of Labor that helps adolescents and young adults improve the quality of their lives through career technical and academic training. The hours at the clinic fall between 8:00 am and 5:00 pm. The clinic manages mental health care, which includes the following services:

• Conducting mental health assessments for applicants and students to evaluate their
• Providing necessary training and development.
• Collaborating with TEAP Specialist for short-term counseling, the center’s medical staff, and Wellness staff.

Role Description

This is a contract role for a Locums Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) or Clinical Psychologist (PhD/PsyD) with The Locums Company, LLC. The Locums provider will be responsible for providing coverage for mental health care providers and specialists during vacation, leave, other staffing shortages, or on-going yearly long-term contracts. The Locums provider will work on-site and provide mental health care to student patients in accordance with their professional specialty and expertise. Also, TLC offers excellent compensation, and professional liability insurance.

Qualifications

• Active and unrestricted state clinical license in Washington
• Experience in providing mental healthcare to adolescent student patients
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Willingness to work 20 hours per week as needed on a contract basis with flexible schedules
• Prior experience as a locums provider is a plus
• Must have a Master’s (LICSW) or PhD/PsyD degree
• One year of experience working with adolescents under a LICSW license is an absolute must for all applicants.
